Order my meal, chicken curry, chips amongst other items..specifically asked for chips cooked well.. received uncooked and the chicken curry was awful..peas In a group in the bottom of tray.. meat stuck together and looks like the sauce was just pored on top.. considering a busy takeaway.. the food was rushed and not nice. Our local go to Chinese. Fresh clean premises. Lovely fresh food,tasty. Very hard to get through on phone but worth the trying. They are very popular. Best Chinese take away for us.
Had a nice takaway from Hong kong Chef, all cooked nice and good service. Got some free prawn crackers which kept my son very happy...!
We could not locate a menu online. When we called, the person who answered was rude and we felt we were rushed . He was asking if we had the menu with us and when we explained we hadn't and just wanted to know prices, he wasn't very helpful. We didn't go ahead with them .Won't be buying any food from them!
Had my first experience here the other night. Was hugely impressed, staff were friendly and helpful. Service was super quick and food tasted amazing.
Banquet Chinese is objectively better, but if you're looking for a nice Chinese on a budget you can't go wrong with Hong Kong Chef.
