Please don’t put your loved one into this home it is absolutely awful poorly run establishment . We had to raise numerous safeguarding issues as did other families . My Dad was left in bed undressed with a window opened on a cold day . They are short staffed with many staff members giving inadequate care . The morning Dad passed away they apparently lost every family members phone number so we were unable to be with him despite calling us numerous other times while Dad resided there . There are a handful of decent caring staff but it’s a lottery if one of them is looking after your loved one .
Very bad when hiring people. Cancel interview 30 min before. One of my friend applied for position to work in honey lane care home from January 2023 , 4 or 5 interviews was cancelled without explanation just before interview. Not recommend to work there
My dad spent 2 weeks at this place. Lack of duty of care. Do not send your loved one there if they need any type of nursing needs. We were promised his needs would be addressed and they were not. He arrived October 9th. October 22nd he was rushed to hospital with UTI and infected bed sores and dysplasia. To add insult to injury. They did not even pick up the phone to ask how my father was doing. He died.
I attended this place in the course of my work as a paramedic. Normally I despise residential homes but here I genuinely felt the staff knew and cared for their residents.nThe building itself seems nice and the facilities OK. But it's the staff that make the place worth checking if you need a home.
