The staff were miserable! However, we've never had as much fun, shopping. Our friend sat on a beanbag which subsequently exploded. Totally accidentally, but we were then watched, the whole way around the shop, until we left. We overheard them talking about us, on their "Madonna mics"! Quite rude, as we were actually buying some items, but won't be rushing back!
Ideal for home decor items. Not too expensive. Lots of choices, and looks like most tastes catered for.
Really good store. Good selection of furniture. Got a chair. Staff couldn’t be more helpful wrapping up and helping to the car. They also do a delivery option for larger items from £27. Really reasonable! Got some nice prints too
Seasonal displays are always lovely and impactful. Even managed to find the most wonderful candle suitable for that special someone! POS on the Xmas blankets said £12.99 and under yet had blankets priced £24.99 as part of their display under that POS. Could be just my luck but every time I visit and want to impulse buy my dog a new bed because they have so many lovely ones to choose from… every single one I’ve ever wanted or heavily considered buying, price label missing. It’s quiet up in the top corner of the store with no tills or usually staff around to assist so have never actually bought one yet due to this reason. Maybe 4/5 times in the last year or so! Poor dog is 14, by time I get one with a price tag on it might be her deathbed, I’m sure the tags come off due to customers heavy handed pulling off shelves and never putting them back!, they’re always allover the floor too… but perhaps that suggests an issue with the display and it’s functionality having them stacked up and squashed onto shelving like that. Better display needed. Staff at tills have always been pleasant and efficient when ques start to build.
Good place, too bad the lift didnt work and there was no way to get to the top floor for disabled people and with a pram.
There's always an interesting selection of weird stuff here, you never quite know what you'll find.
My favourite place. Lively selection of home items and also foods which you couldn't wouldn't normally purchase.
Occasional bargains and the temptation to buy stuff you really don't need. Good for interesting things for your home, you can't always get what you want, but if you try a few times, you might find, you get what you need. Good for kitchen ware, towels & bedding in my experience. Also do furniture, furnishings, garden furniture and bathroom stuff. Deffo worth dropping in from time to time.
Love, love, love this place. If you are looking for great furnishing, high quality with low prices, this is your place!
