Exceptional service at Homebase in Daybrook! Visited on a busy bank holiday to find our desired barbecue out of stock, but the kind store assistant went above and beyond, offering us the display model to ensure we didn't leave disappointed. Saved us the hassle of assembly too! Thanks to the fantastic team for making our shopping experience smooth and enjoyable.
This homebase lived up to my expectations of what a homebase should be like. I personally am not a big fan of the chain of shops they are not as good as B&Q's in my opinion. This store has a nice large car park which is convenient for large vehicles or people towing trailers.
It's nice place, seems little overpriced regular sales & discounts could pull up customers.
Popped in for a look around and checked out the outside garden area.. plenty of new plants to choose from although I didn't buy anything as I think it's still a little early in the veg growing season to buy young plants.

Staff okay, good carpark size. No customer toilets since Covid never reopened them after pandemic, no other toilets on the wider retail park either. Makes things very difficult when trying to take young children here
Its a great look inside of this store, quite enjoyed strolling around. If Homebase can lower prices including with sales and deals the better. It is hard when during the cost of living too...
Me and my 3 children went to pick out a christmas tree last night. We had never had a real christmas tree before and didn't know much about them. We spoke to a lovely gentleman called cash and he was brilliant with the kids making them laugh. He wrapped the tree and carried it to my car and fought it into the back . Tree is beauts as customer service was 10/10. Will definitely be back next year xx
Free on site parking. Limited range of kitchens and bathrooms but lots DIY tools ,paint and soft furnishings
