The staff are very polite. That's it! The 'strap line's "always cheaper" is puzzling. Cheaper than what?? Certainly, if you look at the ironmongery; nails, hinges etc, it is invariably cheapest Dawson's a short distance away. As for the curious assortment of garden tools - has ANYONE bought the secateurs priced at over £50?; The long handled (awful) spades only fit for the 'outback'?; The cheap 'English' style spades with poorly finished shafts and exposed rivets guaranteed to give you nasty blisters?; The strange assortment of metal products more suited to chicken runs in the Australian bush? It is such a puzzling place.

Nice friendly staff, the only downside is that sometimes it will say online that they have something in stock and when you arrive it is not there, also some thought has not been put into the items they stock, for instance they have wire but no earth sleeving.

Not fantastic if honest ... products I wanted weren't displayed well...got home and piece missing. And to cap it all the worst "deal" I think have ever seen, see pic!
