Don't buy Homebase top soil. Rubbish. Bought 48 bags and given full refund. The staff and after-sales service were excellent. Top soil 1 star - staff and after sales 5 stars.
Excellent customer service and variety of products! My mum and I visited the store and were welcomed by Hugh- he was so knowledgeable, helpful and friendly! He took his time explaining products and answering questions, thank you so much!
Didn’t have anything I was looking for. It was more of a budget low market B&Q. I won’t be in any hurry to be going back. I looked in there website before I went out to the store 20 miles round trip. What I was looking for was in stock. Got there just to be told. You can only order online. So why does the website say it’s in stock ??
Have tried to contact branch 4 times today however no answer or answer machine. Waiting on a call back from weekend when I provided my details however no-one has called me as promised.
Prices just gone up for the “15%off everything” promotion. Blaming others for their own failures. Incompetent and dishonest. Bought a lawn mower. Opened it to find it had been used. Manager said she would send it back to the manufacturer as faulty. This is entirely the shop’s fault for putting a previous return back on the shelf without checking, and now they are blaming someone else. Meanwhile another customer was charged £25.50 for paint advertised as £24 on the shelf.
Went into buy compost was told by young man that he couldn’t leave his desk to help lift as I couldn’t get a trolley as had no cash on myself and he wasn’t prepared to give me a trolley - Went to b&q - staff are not trained at all has been like for many years or anytime I have been previously in.
It's just a small store but it has a good variety of products and the staff are friendly. 4 stars due to store size
A good DIY store with a lot of useful bits and pieces you don't see elsewhere.
Homebase is a great one stop shop for all things diy and garden. I stopped there twice to stock my balcony with plants and firewood, as shown. Friendly and helpful staff.
I couldn't find what I was looking for. Very expensive compared to B&Q
