Get most of my bits an bobs for gardening here, normal an array of prices like from aldi to waitrose lol, normally always got whats needed! Pics wise, either the pots or plants or both were bought from homebase.
This is the onestop shop if you want for your home. After christmas loads of sale for Christmas things. I buy loads for my Christmas for 2024 because it a great savings. I order online and pick it up here the thing is quite easy staff are professional and very helpful for the products and services would you like to know. They offer their service go and beyond. The lady just help me lift the box is quite look after her retirement age already but she is very strong. I really appreciate it and say a lot of thank you to her. Thinking about the back hurts later but the people working here deserves praise and increment because they are such a very good in job they are doing. Keep it up.
The customer service I received by Sheila today was so refreshing. She was so helpful, had great advice and made me feel like me leaving happy was important to her! We need more Sheila’s in the world! Thank you
I had an unpleasant experience during my recent visit. The cashier addressed me with "xiexie", even though I am not Chinese. This assumption was inappropriate and made me uncomfortable. I believe the staff needs better training to avoid such assumptions and to ensure all customers are treated with respect.
Toilets at your Leamington store are appauling, only the disabled was functioning barely, was not clean and the toilet seat was hanging on by a thread, considering your a DIY store, youd think you could at least fix the basics. Someone could easily slip off and crack their head, its embarrassing for your staff to have to defend the state of the toilets to customers. The fact they are asking me to report it so it's taken seriously is truly a sorry state of affairs, start listening to your managers when they compalin about this stuff.
It was my first time in homebase and I was quite surprised. It feels more like a Dunelm mill with a DIY section or Wilko with a few more items. The selection of some items was limited and took much longer to find what I needed of that they had. However I would recommend b & q over here due to them having more availability and selection of diy items.
Since I bought homebase compost I have small flies everywhere in my home. Downstairs and upstairs even in bathroom I opened one bag which I didn't use before and I found some dead flies and something what looks like small eggs Now I moved all our plants from whole house to the garden. Flies are in every single pot! Do not recommend buying these compost from homebase My friend told me she bought the same compost and she has the same problem for a few months! Its hard to get rid of them.
I simply love this shop!! I bought a lot of plants and they look so healthy ! The staff is smiley and professional but the plant pots are out of stock most of the time and they don't sell orchid sticks so I had to buy them somewhere else.. Can't wait to go back!
Pretty poor choice and screwfix is often cheaper and better quality. Appreciate Homebase have had new owners but sadly would prefer a B&Q.
Very busy must be the time of year for DIY ing...one cashier didn't know her name said you don't want this walked away and came back you want this really ..meaning prunning shears..2 for the price of 1 ..same price of one but got 2 pairs ...nice
