Well I went into Homebase after   going to Tesco , to buy a Plum tree which I had seen on offer at 2 for £10.
Tesco had sold out of the shrubs so , 
because I was hoping to plant a Plum tree, 
I thought I would go and look in Homebase.
There, in the Garden section I found a plum tree on offer at £10.
I asked a very helpful assistant, a young blonde lady , why the tree was not £5 similar to Tesco.
She very kindly explained the difference.
1. The rootball is approx  three times the size, 
the trunk is thicker , 
2. The Homebase plant is a couple of years older..
I was impressed by her knowledge !!
She did explain that it all depends how many years I want to wait to get a good crop of lovely plums!!
I thus  came out of the Homebase shop with not just a plum tree,
but also an Apple tree and a cherry tree , [Self Pollinating]
As explained by the knowledgeable assistant..
I feel you get what you pay for !!
I wish her well in her future career..

Great place to shop,I got  all the items I need to fit a new bathroom, complete with new tiles , staff are very helpful well done 😂😂

Stock levels of late are poor, being told on the phone that they can do/supply something, yet when getting to the store, no can do! I'm shopping at B&Q from now on.

Good location,free parkin, close to Tesco extra, next, Costa Coffee, pets for us, good wheelchair access, staff very friendly and helpful.
