With there being several competitive diy stockists locally Homebase offers the best deals with low prices. Although I do find the store extremely messy at times with there being a 50/50 chance of what you need being in stock. If there is something I need I visit Homebase first before my alternative! There is a range of items but limited to only a few choices.

Good for high end products but very pricey. Good to use as a reference then buy online to get a better deal. Friendly staff but not much knowledge of products or gardening. Some good seasonal deals.

Store is a mess. Products in wrong places. Just needs a good sort out. Too much clutter.

Good garden centre but DIY has limited range. Good range of light bulbs. helpfull staff but quite pricey.
