Recently We bought kitchen in Homebase Bracknell. Our choice was driven by adverts, kitchen range and price. Everything went well untill some parts of our kitchen have been damaged during transport or even damaged in the warehouse. Due to this our fitting was delayed by whole week. During this time we couldn’t cook. One week on take away or restaurant it’s not best option for our budget. We faced with the following behaviours from HomeBase people 1. We asked contact - about service recovery. Our email was ignored no response. After we went to the shop to ask where is spare part. Everyday I was assured by phone that it will be in next days. After 3 days I had enough and went to the shop to meet our host face 2 face. Unfortunately this person was on holidays and working only part time. We spoke with young men. At least he described how looks they distribution network. Based on this we find out that in total delay will be 1 week. Again we mentioned about recovery of the service. AGAIN ignored. Just to add we feel really disappointed on customer service. No recovery POOR customer service. Our host was constantly not available -working part time and suggesting really difficult times for meeting taking into consideration that both of us work full time. So far I really like this shop but this situation put me off. Close to Bracknell there is a lot of much better DIY stores.

Yet another large firm devoted to selling garden plants,power tools,barbecue cookers, furnishing & fittings,including electrical items. DIY items,kitchen & bathroom units, paints of various colours,etc. Prices are in the main reasonable. How anyone can fail to find the entrance to this store,ought to head straight for Specsavers in Princess Square!

Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Asked one person were something was, was told "it's over there somewhere". Another was a bit more accurate, but there used to be a time when you were taken to the item you were looking for.

Big improvement since Bunnies took it over. Much bigger range, some more unusual items, and seems to be quite keenly priced.
