I am no fan of this type of shop. However, in fairness to the place there was good and interesting offers beyond the regular touristy gift shop 'tat' we see too often. There were two things that turned me off, which were; high prices and the purported enormous mark down prices on a number of lines e.g. prints reduced from £300 to £100. If I could I would make it 3 1/2 stars.
Ordered a picture which was expensive but worth it, and which I really love. Arrived however with glass in frame smashed, and haven’t been able to get in touch with the company despite trying online contact form and calling more than once so have had to pay extra to get the frame replaced. Disappointing.
Such a fabulous shop lots of variety candles , rugs , throws , and much more very friendly welcome and Chris was especially helpful to us with details of local garages for our VW excellent kind young man .. more people like him are needed in this world .. will be purchasing more on line after our holiday … superb service ..

What a fantastic shop, with very helpful staff. They stock some amazing items along with everyday useful stuff. We will definitely be returning very soon.
Super cute little place with plenty of bits and pieces you don't even know you need for your home I bought myself a brand new beautiful ragdoll that I really don't need as an adult but was identical to one I had as a child and lost! But they do everything from clothes to homewares to the best selection of door handles/knobs and beyond. Tiny place but packed with stuff!
We purchased a wedding present and just asked if it was too large to be posted. The young gentleman not only agreed it was OK, but bubble wrapped and cardboard wrapped it. When we said it was going to Weston Super Mare he tried to telephone his brother who was going to Weston to see if he could take the parcel for us. There was no signal for the mobile for which I was quite glad as by this time I was feeling guilty at the trouble he was going to on our behalf. I can only say a big thank you and that Home Coming will be the first shop we visit on our next trip to Dunster.
Came for a day visit to dunster and came across homecoming. Such a lovely shop in beautiful surroundings. Found myself a great gift for mother's Day. The gentleman working was very friendly and recommended some nice spots down by the river for a picnic.
I was asked to leave the shop, by a stuck up member of staff because I wanted to compare the price of a bag I wanted to buy to make sure it wasn't to over priced. In the past I have spent plenty of money here but I will never be back. I can only conclude from this treatment it could be well overpriced and they are scared that customers who compare their prices will see this.
Love popping in this shop when I'm visiting Dunster. Staff friendly and the shop has some lovely pictures and gifts
