It's a home bargain but with more miserable staff. I know it's the time of year. Well, i hope it is, but come on. Where is the manager to tell you to cheer up at the tills. Please thank you are words that cost nothing but mean a lot. Standard stuff in a shop, which is why I noticed the simple words not being used at all. Maybe it was just me, I don't know.
Just been into the Tunstall Stoke on Trent store omg the lad on the till never asked if I required a bag, cash or card. Thank you or anything. Absolutely a disgrace. The Kidsgrove store the staff are polite , helpful & nothing is too much trouble. Maybe a lesson could be learnt from the Kidsgrove staff
If you love a bargain this is the place, only a 3 star though as the lady who served Me on the till was really miserable her face would have cracked quite literally if she had smiled
Rudest girl at the till I ever seen. U still packing and she starts scanning other peoples stuff and mix it with yours. Throwing keys at other members off staff, when asked for a bag it was thrown at me. They keep this kind off staff on they won't be far behind Wilkinson. At least they had nice staff.
Went here on Sunday, great selection of products as usual, long wait at the tills, with managers just wandering around, will use the nearby Burslem store in future.
