Charming church that you can get to using a slightly muddy path up from the North Dorset Trailway by Shillingstone Station which itself is well worth visiting. There is an informative church guide with details on the building and the various restorations. Six bells now in the belfry. A row of skeletons was uncovered in 1888 by the now North aisle possibly Dorset Clubmen killed on Hambledon Hill 1645.
