2 stars since the hotel staff was great/ very accommodating but please DO NOT stay here if you’re looking for restful sleep. There is a club next door that stays open until 2AM and you will hear every word to every song. Extremely loud and the walls are paper thin. I repeat do not book here if you don’t want to try and sleep above a rave going on next door
We stayed here while visiting Derry for a couple of days. The location is great but since its a small town everything you need is 10 minutes walk .nNice bar inside the reception and with many options.nFriendly staff ready to accommodate you.nThe room had all the amenities, comfy beds but the floors were dirty and had lots of stains.
The room was nice although it was missing some basic amenities. 2 stars are given due to the front desk attendant. My friend was a bit sick so we were looking some food alternative that was totally plain ex rise. In all other hotels across the world, personel is accommodating to cases like that, take care of their guests and can handle requests. In Holiday inn we were directed to buy something at Tesco. This speaks miles on the customer service offered.
Great location and very friendly staff – that’s the only real upside.nnThe hotel feels run-down and wasn’t particularly clean. Our room wasn’t properly cleaned, and the bar furniture was stained and dirty.nnIt’s also extremely noisy – you hear everything, including loud music and people from a nearby bar.nnAt £180 a night, the value for money is really disappointing. Not recommended.
I had a fantastic experience .nThe staff are all amazing, polite, and very present when attending to their guests.nI had the opportunity of trying out their new Kaboddle menu, and that too is amazing. I hope it cuts across all IHG in the UK. The addition of fish and chips makes it more balanced.nThe rooms are cozy and neat, and the bed indeed makes sleeping very restful, and the hug of soft pillows complements the experience
