I’ve only been in about once and I don’t think I’d go back again. There was some good variety and I picked up the stuff I wanted and went over to the till. However the lady doing it seemed genuinely annoyed by my presence. Pretty much no eye contact, annoyed voice and next to no engagement. It just made me feel like I was such a burden to her. I stayed positive and remained kind in hopes of her mood changing but unfortunately that didn’t work. I just simply paid for my items, said thank you and left. I think there is good variety but the staff member just put me off a bit.
Love an HMV. A rarity these days. Plenty of bargains to be had...or that might just mean my taste in music ain't that good!!
Typical HMV. Pricey but their selection of kpop albums was incredible. Highly recommended for kpop fans ;
I've always enjoyed shopping in HMV. Sadly the internet is killing stores like this either by streaming or offering cheaper purchases. It would be nice to see hmv go online as well as the high street as they do cater for many unique items.
Couldn't find what I wanted. Talked to a member of staff, and they helped me get what I wanted. Had to order it , but I have no problem with that
This was a great store to go shopping at, where the iron-on patches are organized efficiently on a shelf! I bought an alien one for a cheap price of 99p, which ironed on to my t-shirt easily and came in appropriate packaging.
Nice to see HMV still has some physical shops about. Good selection of vinyl which is awesome. The shops is very music focused these days which I'm a big fan of so yeah. Worth a trip if it's not too far.
Great selection of movies. Not the biggest HMV I've been in but good selection of LPs and other bits for the size of it
be better if it still sold games. movie selection is good but physical copies of music is kinda pointless these days
Just love looking round and handling proper LPs and cds, nothing like it.
