Incredible experience today applying for our children’s passports! We fumbled a bit with paperwork but were fortunate to provide enough evidence to send a successful application. Manager on duty and agent at counter 6 were incredibly kind, patient and understanding. True human experience and teamwork solidified and on full display today. Highly professional and courteous mixed with the perfect level of humour and gentleness. Efficient and effective service to the end.nWith much gratitude, my family thanks you!
Great experiance today with the passport office. Turned up 10 mins before appointment, both reception and security staff were very pleasant. Once inside waited about 5 mins for my appointment, the lady was very polite and efficient. All staff welcomed my children with smiles and made what could have been a tremendously stressful task very pleasant. Returned 4 hours later to yet another polite lady who sorted my passport out within 5 mins. All in all a great experience.
'Mitie' Security staff treat you rudely, passport staff are pretty friendly though. Been here 3 times in the last 15 years and it's always the same. This time the security guy spoke to me like it's some sort of army boot camp and 11 minutes early seems to spark some sort of superiority complex from Sergeant Major Passport Security. Once you're through though, the passport staff themselves are very friendly and accomodating. Always chalk and cheese here. 3 stars max.
Super quick and smooth service for 1 week passport. Good communication as the appointment approached reminding of date, time and requirements. Easy parking in Asda opposite free for 3 hours and good coffee and food in Bragu cafe opposite.
I came today for my fast track appointment. Fantastic staff, they were friendly and professional, everything went smooth, great experience.nnNow for the down point. The parking was a joke. If a policeman/warden came around here, they would be a millionaire by the end of the day from the amount of cars parked on double yellows. There was even one in the middle of the road. There was a car park, but it was for staff only, with warning signs to anyone else, and there were like two cars in the passport office's spaces.nnWhy not reserve a couple for customers? You could then fine people, who are not customers, for parking there, and make some extra quids towards your coffee stations and staff christmas do. I was 50p 20p-ing it while I was inside, hoping I don't get fined. Not that I'm admitting to parking on double yellows.nnThis was probably the one time in my life that I visit the passport office, as I'm sure it is the case for many more people who come here for the fast track service, what an awful experience it would be if we got a fine. The passport office is not exactly the sort of place you'd think to go and park on a daily basis. Would it really hurt to reserve a space or two for customers who have driven a fair distance?nnI suspect the cars on the double yellows belong to people who work around the area. If that is the case, a staff only multistory would help, then that would free up spaces in front of the buildings for customers of businesses around the area. It worked well for some businesses in Bristol.
