Nice station where regular services running to London, Cambridge and Peterborough. It's accessible and easy to navigate. There are lifts, toilets and vending machines with some drinks and snacks. The station is kept clean and in good condition. Can recommend.
Would’ve been 0 stars if it was an option. Cleaner is a creep, left my wife feeling extremely uncomfortable. He’s lucky by the time I knew what had happened he’d scurried away into the lift.
I’m Shruthi Today I visited hichin station by mistake I came from London I have my ticket with I need to go Luton I used google map I came national express train I explain I came wrong station I go from Luton, Hichin to Luton But one lady her name Laura she is host passenger she is very rude n she not explain directly she done penalty 70 pounds without explain anything and her behaviour is very rude with me n she not talking properly , it’s a worest behaviour I never seen and national railway need to take an action , my requesting you here through my feedback Thank you
Really helpful staff. Oliver helped me download the app for my rail card and use it. Great customer service.
Decent station with no issues and regular services to London and Cambridge
Rather useless staff - didn’t let us take bikes onto a train claiming there were restrictions so delayed our departure by an hour! checked online, that line isn’t subject to restrictions.
If i could give zero stars i would!Tried using the ticket machine to buy a return ticket to royston since ticket staff were not present and machine had a problem it took my £10 note and didn't give tickets nor change contacted staff to help me retrieve money and they said there was nothing they could do because ticket office was close till 2pm and I had to get to work. Was extremely disappointed, station staff are just really incompetent! and I felt taken advantage of.
This station links Peterborough and Cambridge/London Kings Cross. It has a car park and bike stand as well. With lifts on both platform 1 & 2 to enhance disabled access or for those with lots of luggage. With standby staff for anyone who needs help and tickets machines also make this station well more than standard. Enjoy your trips
One of the worst train stations in the country. So bad that if I want a ticket in advance I drive to Stevenage or Wwelwyn Garden City. Rude, disinterested staff, who look like they hate their jobs, who miss sell tickets and have little or no knowledge about ticket alternatives and don't care. Staff laughing at clips on their phones by the barrier while one person is serving the long long queues. My attempt to change a week ticket that had stopped working could not be dealt with as no-one was serving at 6.30pm!!! I wanted to complain and was told that the manager had gone home and they did not have a manager during the evening. Ticket machines are always breaking down. I'm amazed and suspicious as to all of the five star reviews here, yet no comments espicially as I don't know anyone who has a good word to say about it.
Standard situation: 1 person behind the ticket office for a couple of hours in the morning. 3 resting at the barriers-one person/barrier seriously. And then they go on strike because they're not getting paid enough. The rail network is a constant disgrace and embarrassment for Britain.
