Nice little nursery with a good range of plants even this early in the season. Helpful staff. Varying prices but not too bad overall. The resident cat named Jasper was a welcome feature!

First time visiting. Very impressed. Man, presume the owner, was very helpful. Separated my bags to help me to carry them easier. Your unprompted consideration and customer service was appreciated. This approach is something that you wouldn't get in a chain store. Prices were reasonable too, I will definitely be going back now that I have found this gem. Support local business!

The reality of its closure hit me today when I went there to do some shopping. Shopped and have a good time chatting with the owner and his life changing decision, all the very best for him and all involved in the business -workers included. Many blessings for them all. We'll miss them, that's for sure, I will.
If I had a choice I would give this place 0 stars, it is absolutely appalling with poor customer service. The staff look as they do not want to be there and very patronising too. My mother wished to purchase an aubergine plant and asked if there was another one as the one she was holding was tired looking and the tall man pointed at the other ones and shouted 'They are here where I'm pointing' not sure why he shouted! He spoke to us as though we were children and talked down to us. The woman at the till was sighing as she bagged up our plants. Her tone was rude and from her attitude, it seems that she found this job difficult. This was a first time here as a family outing and for the sake of them, I did not say anything. Had I been on my own, I would have just left the goods on the table and walked out. I definitely won't be coming here again. The people here should learn about customer service because they really have no manners.
Everyone is helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They are always happy to give advice and guide you on plants to suit your garden situation. I purchased vegetable plants today good selection available and in a couple of weeks I will be back to get my bedding and hanging basket plants.
I purchased a large conifer plant from here. They had placed the plant in the wrong area with the wrong price on it...the tall grey haired older man challenged me about the wrong price tag as if I had changed it to try and get a discount which I thought he did because he discriminated against me. I was seriously p*ssed of but decided not to disrespect him in return because of his age. I won't be buying from them again!
My mother and I have been using this Garden Centre for years and always received great service as they know us. Spent over the years £1000’s of pounds but they quality is great and great value for money when you compare other Garden Centres. It’s a no frills Garden Centre but everything in fairly logical order but if you are after a plant & cant find just ask and they will advise. Exceptionally knowledgeable from this Family Run Business Will continue to use for many more years Would recommend to anyone and I have over the years Thank you Becky
