I went for my 1st check up with Hilsea Dental yesterday and they were amazing!! The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and the dentist I saw was amazing! I was scared to death because I hadn't been for so long but She was so supportive friendly and caring as was her assistant!! And she done an amazing job on my teeth!! I'm not scared to go for my regular check ups now more!

Hi I when there yesterday after a good amount of years and I happy to get my teeth sorted, after filling out the form to my best knowledge I went to the receptionist and said I filled this out the best I can (I'm disabled and I tend to need a bit of head with paper work) and looked at it and I said I'm going to be paying for my treatment she went you're going to be be paying for it???? I stayed yeah then the dentist assistant can throw then I Sat on the chair and he checked my paper and said have have ever been in hospital or had any surgery and I said yes it was a while back and the surgery was on my brain he said OK and checked my teeth and said the best thing to but I was a bit unsure of what to do and I started getting confused then I finally can up with a decision but I was in sure if they was going to do the treatment there and then and they didn't give me any instructions, I was said should I pay for the treatment now? Then the dentist gave me some options and I said OK I'll pay for it now then your don't have to pay for it, so then I Sat back In the chair and looked over to see if this is the right decision and the and dentist assistant looked at the dentist and shock her head and pointed at and went exactly. Morale of the story just give people clear instructions, me, the dentist and the dentist assistant would be left disappointed then. Plus when I when out and hand my money the receptionist was on her phone imagine if c.q.c walked in they would fum

Had an emergency appointment which i was seen very quickly but was in and out within minutes.. had a temporary filling put in which had broken within 3hrs as he had over built it and actually made it near impossible for me to eat and it was totally gone within 16hrs.. overall a waste a time...

Reception staff are really nice but not that impressed with the woman dentist.Had an.infection in my gum but was prescribed cheap anti-biotics which did not work,ended up dialing 111 as in so much pain.Two more doses of anti-biotics from another dentist before i got sorted.I am now going for sedation at outram road southsea as i have lost confidence st Hilsea Dental.

Dentist did not diagnose the cause of my tooth pain and instead berated me about poor dental hygiene. I returned to my old dentist who performed an emergency procedure to correct a filling which had caused an infection.
