"Highfield is a peaceful, 7-acre croft with stunning views of the surrounding countryside, located just a stone’s throw from the long sandy beach of Tralee Bay. It offers luxury en-suite glamping pods and a safari tent as well as spacious pitches for tourers, motorhomes and tents. The glamping pods are fully-equipped and have en-suite bathrooms, private hot tubs, and fire pits. Pet-friendly pods are also available and come with their own dog pod. All pitches have electric hook up and a water standpipe. Facilities include a modern shower and toilet block, dishwashing area, and wastewater and elsan disposal are available on site. The vibe here is pure relaxation with the opportunity to reconnect with nature and what’s important in life."

Found this gem of a site in 2020 and stayed for 2 weeks with our caravan. Could not fault it or the staff on the site, so much so we returned in 2021, again for 2 weeks and again I can only praise the site and staff again. This year we returned and stayed for two and a half weeks and site did not fail to impress but the staff this year have been fabulous, going out of their way to help in any way. Highly recommend this site and we will definitely be back. Thanks and by the way the views are unbelievable xx
Had a 2 night stay in one of the ‘Highlander’ pods. Perfect short break, The pod was perfect for the two of us, Beds were very comfy, Hot tub was perfect, I purchased the firewood package which was an extra £15 and there was more than enough for both nights. If your staying at Highfield I would also recommend walking along to the next site and trying the chippy. Would definetly stay again.
A must stay! ! Staff very friendly and helpful. Spotless tent. Lovely shower block and sheep as an alarm clock. Myself and my two daughters stayed for 3 nights and we loved it. This is a lovely clean site with friendly staff. It's very quiet and in a great location for oban and the local beach . Surrounded by sheep, rabbits, and horses. Tent comes with a great hot tub which fits two comfortably and a cracking bbq. Great wee touches of blankets and hot water bottles mean you can use the outdoor space even when the weather is not in your favour . I would recommend this site to anyone looking for a little bit of quiet

Such a relaxing stay! Highly recommend staying here for a little relaxing getaway! We stayed in the Deluxe Safari Tent which was so homely & cosy. The hot tub was perfect and we loved the little fire burner on the patio. You can head into Oban for a lovely day out, go to Tralee beach 2 minute walk for a stroll, or even head up to Fort William for some outdoor adventures! We didn't want to come home, we could of stayed for a week or two! Staff are very pleasant and professional and communication was fantastic. Great for couples, friends or families. 5 stars!
Great location. Best pod we've stayed in. Hot tub was a real bonus! Missing a few forks and towels when we arrived but we messaged the warden and they were brought around first thing in the morning with an apology. The site was immaculate, with just a short 5 min walk to the beach. The pink shop at the end of the road sells everything - its like the tardis. Lots of lovely dog walks within a 10 minute drive.
We stayed at one of the Deluxe Safari tents with hot tub. It was absolutely lovely. Plenty of space, the tent is really nice and cozy, and the hot tub is amazing! Definitely would love to book again. Highly recommended!
Loved my time here. The cabin we stayed in was a little small for our needs 2 adults, a baby and a small dog, so next time I go we will go for one of the larger cabins that are available. The bathroom was a little small for my liking, however, the shower itself more than made up for that. Wow. Amazing. All basic amenities were supplied, soap, linen, towels, kettle, toaster, and our cabin had 2 stove tops, a fridge freezer a tv and a microwave oven. Very very easy to ralax with no worries in very comfortable surroundings. Will be back. Loved it.
Great experience. We were in a Highlander lodge for 2 days and had a brilliant time, the staff we spoke to were very helpful and friendly. Only a few small issues such as the wifi being weak in our room but otherwise would highly recommend!
