A village from back in time!
Me and my friend booked a twin room here for a country escape for a couple of days. This was ideal as I struggled to find a twin room at such a reasonable rate. The accommodation was lovely, Trish was a great host very welcoming from the off and provided a great breakfast every morning. Full english breakfast with fresh, local produce - this was really tasty!

The cottage is around 300 years old, full of plenty of character and a charming quaint 500 year old pub next door was an added bonus. The pub is walkable from the accommodation and is a must if you’re staying. 

There is no phone signal in the immediate area but there is very good free wifi available at the cottage. Tea and coffee is provided in the room with a little kettle, a small shop is nearby too which opens for a few hours each day (around 9am-1pm-ish). We couldn’t have asked for any more Trish was lovely and so accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. If we’re in the immediate area again, we will definitely be back. Thank you for a great stay Trish!
