I've been with this Doctors for over 30 and I feel sadend that I have to provide this review however the practice has really underperformed in recent years and has progressively gotten worse. Definate improvements need to be made quickly in all the right areas. Also one other avenue that needs addressing is that clear communication needs to become evident between the surgery and the pharmacy.

I went to the reception with my husband to try and sit and wait to see a GP or Nurse late on Friday (6.05pm. Fortunately my husband has not needed a doctor for many years so were unaware that there was not sit and wait but though they may be flexible. The receotionist was unhelpful and un-sympathetic to the situation and just said you need to pre-book an appointment! ( not easy when you work away all week and don't pre-plan illness) I thought this was dreadful to be honest, I understand there needs to be a cut off point to allow staff to finish and go home but surely it would have been far better for a doctor to spare 5 minutes at the end of surgery to examine my husband and prescribe some antibiotics for his suspected chest infection. As it was were sent away and passed off to go home and dial 111 or sit and wait in minor injuries??? which is apparently closed in the evenings. We will both be registering with an alternative doctors surgery asap.

Awful service from Medical staff here. Front line staff are clearly struggling to cope with the workload placed upon them and, are doing their best but, the Doctors don't listen.

My wife. telephoned totryand see a doctor as she thinks she has an ear infection but we were referred to Western-Super- Mare hospital but we are staying very close to Highbridge. First time we have ever had this happen. Not very good!

Some fantastic new GP's have joined HMC. In particular is Dr Richard Barry. I can honestly say he is simply the best GP I have ever had! HMC have really improved their service. Brilliant new GP's, Nurses and Reception Staff in addition to the upgraded waiting area all make your visit a much better experience now. The integration with Symphony Health Care had worked very well indeed. A dramatic improvement. Well done HMC. I am pleased to be a patient!
