Decent little station in a very deprived town. Avoid Highbridge and go to Burnham-On-Sea. Burnham on Sea is about a 30 minute walk from the station or about a 5 minute walk to a nearby bus stop then a further 5 or so minute bus journey into the town centre of Burnham-On-Sea. This station is a good spot for seeing fast CrossCountry services fly past or seeing GWR trains regularly stop here. I wouldn’t recommend coming here from trainspotting, unless you like seeing CrossCountry Voyagers speed past. The has a functional ticket machine. Overall, I would say this is a good station but only go here if you are travelling to Burnham-On-Sea or surrounding towns/villages but bare in mind some places you may have to hook a taxi to as a couple nearby locations don’t have a great public transport but the main areas like Bridgwater, Pawlett, West Huntspill, Highbridge, Brean and Burnham-On-Sea have great bus connections to the station. I’d recommend getting off at Weston-Super-Mare station and getting the 20 bus if u are you to Brean as that’s more direct but you can still get to Brean from this station, but will need to get a few different bus routes, as opposed to just the one.
Nothing much in the train station nothing much to judge on I've never had a problem with it so I'll give it a good rating.
A convenient enough station but with no direct bus services & a tiny car park, it definitely could be better...
Very deprived area & expensive to eat out, beach was below average youths spoiling the day causing mayhem! Would not return
Small station - no ticket office or ticket machine. Very limited parking - but not ticketed. Covered seating on each platform and limited bike storage.
