Chips weren't great. And paid upfront told them I'd be back in ten. When I got back they shut the shop. Couldn't believe how ride they were. Never gone back since.

The worst chip shop ever, food is way to greasy and cold, we always go to the one behind the coop in higham, they never let us down.

I don't understand the previous reviews regarding this Fish and Chip shop. I've been going here for more than 12 years. The proprietor (Sam) and his wife (Lee) are always friendly, they remember your name and what you usually order to eat. I have never been disappointed with the quality or quantity of the food. I did once try another chip shop in Rushden, when Sam was closed and on holiday, we never strayed from Higham Fish Bar again.
