Higham Ferrers Surgery - SAFFRON RD - Higham FerrersnnIf you’re with this surgery, make sure you read your notes in the NHS app under your health section - GP Health record > consultations and events is>nnJust read my appointment notes on the NHS App and was shocked to read they were completely biased.nnDR Saeed made absolutely no reference to the complaint I made regarding the lack of care I received 4 years ago and only posted notes to try and make me look like a depressed insomniac.nnPlease stop sending your useless ‘sleep hygiene’ and ‘mental health - talking therapies’ texts.nTry actually doctoring and caring, you had absolutely no empathy whatsoever and more to the point wrote notes meant only to protect yourselves.nnI have three serious conditions, the last of which could have been prevented had you had listened to physio when they asked for you to refer me back for knees and hip pain. You felt this was unnecessary instead prescribing painkillers. 3 years on that has now progressed to very painful inflammatory arthritis.nnSeriously I have always given you the benefit of the doubt, but managing to have the first face to face appointment in over 3/4 years, for an accident which I had to go to A & E, due to the practice ‘go to’ of pushing most calls to 111.nnThis practice obviously cannot seem to tackle the requirements of this town, and has been struggling to for years.nnI can finally say I have lost confidence in your practice and also your advice.nnI am writing this a week later - nearly 3 weeks on from when the accident happened still in pain, but I will not be phoning you. Your practice and Doctors create problems then backpedal to cover them up.nnThis is a very antiquated surgery that needs a wake up call.nnNot only are their systems so backward and do not work properly, they do not even know how to use them as I found out. They rely on the patient to access it on the NHS app, why? They have access to the same information but the default seems to be, it’s someone else’s problem, that it hasn’t been sent, etc.nnObviously these are my thoughts, however, there must be better Surgeries In the area, I would consider them before joining here.
I think my Jill and I must be attending a different surgery!nSince the appointment system face to face has been reinstated we have nothing but praise in our own particular circumstances for all the staff at this surgery. We have both had fairly serious health problems my wife Jill more than me and all Doctors in my case Natasha Umrao and for Jill Dr Onimole & Dr Munir all have been amazing in their kind and humanitarian way and looked after our interests to the maximum.nI will say utilising the Anima Health app which does take a bit of getting used to does make contact and management of appointments a lot easier.nAnd again from a personal point of view - a big shout out for all the reception staff and nurses who have always been so kind to us.
Worst surgery I have ever come across in 62 years. I made the greatest mistake registering with this practice. In less than 6weeks of registration, I have not been able to resolve not one problem. Cannot get repeat prescription from medications I have been on for years and twice had to contact NHS 111 for emergency. I ended up paying £9.90 for 7 tablets. I got a medication review yesterday in place of a GP appointment. Guess what, I put in a prescription and this was declined again. I have 2 tablets left of the 7 and the pharmacy would not offer any more emergency. I need a GP review but cannot get any appointment. No choice but to move to another practice. Such appalling service. I am so worried that my anxiety is over the roof.
Impossible to get an appointment. Went to A&E due to a heart problem I have developed due to the stress of my divorce, and I cannot get an appointment to see the doctors to discuss my future medical needs, or how to manage my current medical conditions alongside this. Phoning is a waste of time. The app is only open between 8am and 9am and when you raise a call they close it but don't give you a reason why. This surgery is an absolute disgrace.
always giving me the wrong prescription on my medication, i asked for 56 and got 28, not only that i got the wrong box i normally get the sugar coated instead they gave me the other one.
