Stopped here as a quick walk/toilet break for Bolly. On entering the park, a huge rat ran in front of us, which, as I'm terrified of them was a great welcome! Despite that, it is a pleasant open space with a nursery school at one end of the park, lots of benches and what could be a really lovely playground and open seating area by the little bandstand. If the local council spent a little money on updating the playground and litter picking, and of course people living locally not to drop litter everywhere, it would really be a smashing little park. There were plenty of people just walking through and walking their dogs when we were there, as there are some pleasant grassed areas. A slightly neglected park, which could be really lovely with some help from the council and the local community. Of course, Bolly loved it!

Also known as Bobby heywoods park. Was a great park in the 1990’s. Now 30 years on much has changed for better or worse… you can decide?
Amazing place for walk, full of greenery, tree , swings and children playground.
Used to be a beautiful large park where the kids would send hours in.. since the size has been reduced its quite small and can get crowded.
Unreal amount of litter. Rubbish everywhere, absolutely shocking behaviour from users. I think that no one is cleaning this place
Its a Big Park. But it doesn't look like that this park is looked after so much. Some swings in children's area are broken. The grass is also not cut regularly. There is also a football pitch in the park.
Used to be a great park years ago when they had the climbing frame and slides. Nothing special about it now to be honest. Good to walk the dog. Wish people would put their rubbish in the bin.
