I had an appointment for my young son, and we were referred to this GP due to their experience with skin conditions. I had parked inside the gate, as I had done on two previous visits, and was not aware that this was no longer permitted.nnUpon parking, a lady approached and informed me by the back door without any greeting, that I could not park there as the area was for staff only. I moved my car and parked on the street, then proceeded to check in. I mentioned to the receptionist that I hadn’t seen any clear signage indicating that parking was restricted. She insisted I must not have parked there before and that she would have told me if I had. I explained that I had in fact parked there during both of my previous visits without issue.nnThe conversation felt unnecessarily confrontational and dismissive. I found the receptionist’s tone to be quite unprofessional and lacking in basic courtesy. She pointed outside and insisted that signage was present. I’ve since reviewed the sign in question and have attached a photo of it for reference—it is in poor condition and quite unclear. I had interpreted the “No Parking” instruction as referring to the space above, where there is room for two vehicles.nnWhile I understand and respect staff parking policies, the way this situation was handled was disappointing. It’s unfortunate, as we had appreciated the care provided by the GP. However, this experience has led us to consider avoiding the practice in the future.nnI hope this feedback is taken constructively. A little courtesy and clearer signage can go a long way in creating a welcoming environment for patients.
Total waste of my valuable time and that of the doctor. Never used this surgery before and was not advised of terrible parking availability. Aborted the appointment as no where to park not even in side roads as everywhere is single or double yellow lines, What a stupid place for a surgery if you can't park. Tried to park in staff car but was told ' Can't park there' Totally waste of my time, and I still need to see a doctor
I recently placed a review , how well my doctors see patients quickly and effectively .nWell I have changed my view and I believe this is all because of the advanced booking system in place now .nThe problem is that all if the people who are not in immediate need, book up the app although they say we keep some back for urgent cases .nWell this in reality does not work .nThe system in place worked well you could ring up and get an app for that day or the next and if it was not urgent book in advance .nIn the last two weeks I have had to use the gravesend walk in clinic twice and now it looks like a third time might be coming up as I can't get an app with my own doctor when i need one .nWHY CHANGE A SYSTEM THAT WORKSnThey call it progress!!!!
Waited all day for a telephone consultation didn’t get a call. So I phoned them waited 45 minutes to get through them was cut off and told the phone lines were now closed. Absolutely appalling service since joining up with the cedars
shocking surgery doctors still wont see you face to face wait a week for phone consultation if you miss there call you wait another week so lazy and so poor at there job
