AVOID AVOID AVOID. Probably the worst insurance company ever. Hidden charges (despite quoting the cheapest initially). They take forever to pick up phones and when they put you on hold. The call cost charges too. Would never recommend! 
My documents were never uploaded even after 3 months of having insurance. Hit with further prices so the premium went rocket high. 
Avoid at all costs. There are much better services available than this outfit.

I have been insured with HIC for 9 years on my modified classic VW Beetle. Very knowledgable staff and excellent prices year on year!

Been insured with HIC for 3 years now and always been a good and competitive price for my VW Polo. Staff are always friendly and have resolved any queries I have had without a problem. Definitely recommend.

Unscrupulous, unfair, unfortunately they prey on the young & inexperienced. 
My my only advise is Avoid at all costs, there a reason they appear cheap. Add on charges small print and almost con merchant advisers. Will leave you uninsured (if you miss one of there conditions) and penniless 
We’ve in the process of a small claims action so due to sub judice I cannot go into details. 
However having family in the media I’m sure you’ll be hearing a lot more of this shower of manure .
