I wanted to like it here but I really can't recommend it. The Principal dentist Mr. Black is just a bit of a salesman. If you go private you get a check list of all the things you may be interested in buying that you must tick through. You're then asked again during examination... It feels the whole practice is more concerned about getting your money through additional cosmetic dentistry sales than actually caring about the quality of your teeth. E.g. whitening,  straightening etc. Add onto that waiting about past appointment times... Just not a great experience.

Highly recommended. Stuart replaced a filling, a crown and gave me a new filling over three appointments. He explained every stage clearly and made the process comfortable. Really pleased with the result.

I was very wary of going to the dentist, always have been since a child. However since ive moved to this practice I don’t, Gordon explained all the options with pros and cons which enabled me to make an informed choice. He made me feel at ease during the treatments, carefully explaining every step along the way. Would never flinch about going the Gordon now he’s my dentist.

I find Mr Dr. Black, all the hygienists I've seen & previously Mrs Dr. Black have all been very good.

In particular they are attentive & thorough.
They are also caring & open when talking to you; over just dealing with another random patient.

A recent experience that I have encountered was a filling with Gordon. I ended up needing about 5 injections of anesthesia & still felt some of the procedure. He did not rush me, he kept trying different ways, amounts & types until l was comfortable & reassured that everything would go to plan. This took over an hour but he had patience throughout & did not just try force through the appointment.

I always feel very well looked after each time I visit the dentist here. Every time I am seen I am welcomed, asked how I am doing and if there have been any problems since my last appointment; the dentist gives me full attention and care that reassures me that they genuinely care and take time over the health of my teeth and gums. Since switching to this practice I have also had appointments with the hygienist which have given my smile a noticeably whiter appearance removing all stains that had built up over the years. I highly recommend this practice - 5 stars!
