I have been told by the shop I am basically free to throw my pair of Burghs away after just one year of ownership because of what would have later become a massive tear on one of the shoes. It had developed from an absolutely miniscule crack in the leather which couldn't even have been noticed by human eyes. That's after caring for the shoes on a regular basis, using creams, conditioners, saphir protection products and of course shoe trees since the day of their arrival. I assume there isn't even a semblance of manufacturer warranty. I am now on the lookout for a new pair. I am a bit baffled, do they expect me to buy from them again and not from a different vendor? I've been looking at a pair of Fencotes for a while now, but I will most likely be buying the new pairs from a different vendor.

This is one of those rare occasions where a company deserves to receive a positive review. I ordered a pair of shoes which unfortunately arrived with minor but noticeable size difference between the two. I managed to get in contact with the customer service through skype with no waiting time. A second pair of shoes (Different as the first ones were sold out; still beautiful) arrived. This time, after being in contact with the customer service, I realized that both the second pair were large in size - The sour reality of buying shoes online. Herring Shoes were very understanding and offered me a free return. 5 stars, beautiful shoes, great customer service. My wife will be happy at the wedding.

Utter class service from Herring. Shoes are great, packaging was fantastic and delivery was rapid. Will definitely be buying from them again!
