The fish supper was okay, however I think the size of the fish compared to the chips was a bit disappointing and the fish was very greasey compared to other fish and chips I've had. Another thing that surprised me was the fact they spray the vinegar on instead of pouring it so you don't really taste it. The place was pretty clean but could of been cleaner. Overall is a decent fish and chips shop.
First time back in Aberdeen for a long time. Wanted a white pudding supper and remembered that the Dolphin was good. Unfortunately never been so disappointed in a chippy in my life. The chips were white greasy and peelly wally what there was of them. The white pudding was small and chewy. Overall the whole supper was very small and at £5.30? Bottom line is didn’t matter on the size the whole supper went where it belonged, the bin. Believe me I like my food and it needs to be really bad before I won’t eat it. Sorry but that’s my experience and it won’t happen again here.

Fish was dry as were the chips which quickly shrivelled away to nothing. Hugely overpriced.Food: 2/5
Delivery from Deliveroo. Hardly any batter on jumbo sausage 2 small sausages worst I've had. Partners steak and gravy pie was dry as a bone and burnt at the bottom, the knife couldn't cut through it. Chips too pale and not hot.
Lovely fish and chips... really nice staff. Shame I live nearly 400 miles away!!!
Very nice food, very friendly staff
I was the only customer sitting down to eat, though there were plenty of takeaway clients. The service was warm and friendly throughout and the delicious fish and chips were cooked fresh, so I had to wait about 15 minutes. The chips were great. Nice and crispy, no element of sogginess. The fish was even better. Light, crispy, fresh batter cooked in beef dripping the only proper method and delicious thick haddock, which tasted wonderful. Good value.
