Sadly what I received was nothing but mediocre. There is a chippy next to them, so me and my friends decided to go for both. I got more enjoyment from a singular chip from their neighbourly competitor than the whole meal I purchased even though these are rated higher.Food: 1/5
Too much greasy fish and very hard battered skin like a stone. Chips overcooked. Leftover chips not possible to eat them all. Too dry, too hard.On the way back home my wife and daughter felt sick and thrown up. We not back any more there. This fish&chips is overrated.

Brilliant customer service, very friendly and helpful in informing us on what was suitable for a gluten free diet. They even provided gluten free vinegar which can sometimes be an oversight for places. Very polite and happy to help! The best chips I've had in a long time and very quick service and chips were piping hot! 10/10 would definitely come again if we were in the area. Vegetarian options: Chips are cooked in rapeseed oil and I believe are in a separate fryer than the fish. Dietary restrictions: Chips are cooked in rapeseed oil and gluten free options are stated on the menu, weather dependent scallops are the gluten free alternative, but chips are suitable and they offer gluten free vinegar too
Orders are taken and you're given a number that's called when your order is ready. Nice crispy chips, in large portion sizes for a reasonable price. We couldn't eat it all, so ended up taking some home!
Busy Sunday but only a 15 min wait for what was the most fantastic fresh white cod in a beautiful light, tasty batter…and chips. Served with a lemon wedge and tartare sauce - beautiful sitting on the beach.
The best Fish and chips. We love Lyme Regis and every time we are there we have fish and chips from them. Generous portions. Fresh fish and we'll cooked chips. Not greasy one. Just perfect. Well done. Deffo will visit again.
Service with a smile a large portion of chips, enough to feed 6 preschool kids & 2 hungry adults a lovely view of marina, hardly had to wait. Would recommend as a way to motivate children to leave the sandy beach!Food: 5/5
Best fish and chips I have ever had. Fish and batter delicious, chips crunchy not soggy. Well worth a visit.
How this place gets such a high rating is beyond me, service took ages, chips are just frozen with plenty of black bits, however the fish was a bit better. Very disappointed, no one in our group finished their lunch.
