Made an already horrible situation far more excrutiating. We were skint after Xmas and had to pawn my engagement rings. The awful American woman who works there made us feel like scum and was highly dismissive and had zero customer service skills. My partner tried to make small talk about where she comes from but she barely responded.We came out of there feeling terribly ashamed and embarrassed. It's a shame as we were back on our feet pretty quickly and I would have liked to have bought some of the jewellery they had but I'll never be a customer there again. For God's sake show some empathy for people who are just trying to get by.
