Normally i would have given a higher rating having eaten here 3 times now ..but today i ordered fish n chips .. started to eat my fish and then noticed a black curly hair on top of the chips which i moved to the side of the plate but it really put me right off ! .. so left the chips ..
Went in there tonight, it being Sunday 20th November precisely and sat down at our table. It was bright, vibrant and busy and we were also greeted as we came in. The tables were clean and not sticky. Nothing rocked or shifted and we had a well stocked table, with all sauces availiable. As we ordered we were met with smiles and legitimate conversation and to note, she made time for us all throughout our short evening there. We ordered 9oz ribeye and the mighty feast, alongside some well tappped guiness. The food was hot, gorgeous and full of flavour. In short, brilliant food. Brilliant service. Brilliant night. Thank you everyone.
Well it was OK. Worth the money. And staff excellent. Couldn't make out whether smash was fresh our out off a packet.
Another good visit. Good quality food and drinks, served by friendly and welcoming staff. Would I recommend this place to a stranger, or bring family and or friends? 100%yes I would! Today we had a miss understanding whilst placing our order between myself and the staff. The issue was addressed quickly and professionally and the outcome more than surpassed expectations. Jordan, the assistant manager and his team can justifiably be proud of themselves today. I look forward to my return visit.
Went last night. Staff were friendly, food was delicious and prices were reasonable. We both had hunters chicken skillets. The chicken was lovely and moist and was very tasty. Then I had chocolate sundae and husband had bakewell tart which were yummy. Will certainly be going again

Lovely food and such friendly staff! As first timers here, I was amazed by the staff, nothing was too much trouble and they were an absolute delight. Food was excellent, can't fault a thing! Will definitely be making the trip back to this pub again soon. :
We received a lovely warm welcome from the staff on arrival, they was very friendly, as well as helpful, and very polite, and couldn't do enough for us, I would give 10 stars if I could. We had a lovely meal, the food was delicious and plenty of it, definitely will be returning, after receiving such friendly service and fantastic food. I would definitely recommend this lovely place to anyone. Thank you to all staff at the Henry!! See you again soon.
Called in for a meal as we were passing through. It was a busy family pub, they have a good menu to choose from and the food was good I would recommend.
Brilliant service food good and cant believe prices are so much cheaper. Ten adults meals including alcoholic drinks and soft drinks. 120 pounds. Well done guys. Keep up the good work.
