Because I have a broken leg I am unable to drive so i asked my son to take my car to these people to have it washed.  i have used them before and had no problems.  Unfortunately he didn't examine the car before he left the premises.  They have damaged the bonnet presumably removing birdlime.  I can accept this may have happened but they should have pointed out to my son when he picked the car up.  When we went to complain they claimed somebody had painted the bonnet and denied any knowledge.  I would advise anybody to inspect their vehicle for damage before leaving such an establishment.  It's going to cost me hundreds of pounds to repair.

Had to get my bumper repaired, and found the best quote here... did the job speedily, very satisfied, it looks as good as new.. will be coming back here to have it washed. Thanks!

Hi Frank,

Thank you for acknowledging that the damage on the bonnet was done by the bird faeces. Even a couple of hours of leaving it on the bonnet is enough to damage the paint; when it is left for days it does irreversible damage to any car paint.

"These people" have cleaned hundreds of cars - including yours on previous occasions - and have never caused any damage to any cars whilst they have been under our care.  I said it to you when you contacted me about this, and I will say it again: the damage was done because of the bird dropping being left for several days on the car bonnet, therefore the damage was already there when the car was brought in by your son. You can ask any expert in paint work about it and they will confirm that to you.
