Ordered 2 curries 2 rice portions and some starters. The sweet and sour chicken was vile, 4 pieces of chickens and loads of onions and green peppers. The chicken curry was watery. I telephoned to complain about the food and the family was arguing with me saying I’m lying about the food. I will never order from Heng Yun again!!!
Unfortunately our food wasn't what we hoped for. The sweet & sour sauce was lukewarm and the texture was like jelly. The taste was extremely disappointing, that we didn't even eat the rest. The portion of rice was small. We have attached the picture of what we mean by the jelly like "sauce"
We ordered chicken curry, beef curry and salt and pepper munch box. The munch box was ok…. The curries were awful. The consistency was terrible, it felt like jelly and didn’t have much taste at all. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
Food ok however the place it need a bit of t.l.c. not nice seeing a while family eating behind service counter..don't think i will go back..thankyouFood: 3/5
Was a little apprehensive after seeing some ofvthe reviews, but as I was only around the corner I would try it. Ordered Kung po King Prawns, SF Rice large so extra £1. Singapore Vermicelli. Every was hot and very tasty, vermicelli was nice and spicy. All very nice, but, the rice was on the small size, hate to see the normal size, and only 6 or 7 prawns. Vermicelli was a good size. So the downside was only portion size. Will try another t/o next just to compare size.

Terrible. 1st time been and never again. Beef curry - the meat was chewy and rubbery. Crispy noodles - we asked for No beansprouts and no onion. WHAT DO WE GET uncooked dried noodles. LOL. Hung Yun Rice - tasteless This place was recommended by the hairdressers NEVER AGAIN!!!
Small amount of rice and the sweet and sour sauce has a jelly like consistently. Paid £20 and haven't taken more than a bite. I recommend making and cooking your sauce rather than heating up package bought sauce.
Just been for the first time and collected our food which was excellent, very good quality, hot and really tasty. It was ready 15 minutes after ordering and was freshly cooked with plenty of it. Prices are reasonable and we got pleasant service. We will be returning and would definitely reccommend Heng Yun!
Crispy aromatic lamb was soggy and tasted old. Cost 7.50. Rip off. Salt and pepper box for 9.00 was disgusting and greasy. Had no flavour. To be honest I won't be ordering from there again. Waste of 26 quid for full order
