Found this site by accident around three years ago but it very quickly became a 'must visit' spot for myself and my family every summer. This family run site is very much no frills although they definitely play down what they do offer. The campsite itself is a rugged terrain with some cleared and levelled spots for tents, they don't mind if you make a pitch elsewhere though, even in their ample woodland. There is plenty of land to explore in the site with little hidden treats such as rope swings and even a couple of lakes, one good for a paddle and the other with a complimentary boat to make use of. If you like roughing it, stay up in the camping field with no power and only compost toilets. Or alternatively, take a stroll downhill past their orchard and farm areas where you'll find a campers cottage offering WiFi, mobile phone charging facilities, log burner, kettle etc. as well as a lovely warm shower and a plumbed toilet. The couple who run the site are really welcoming, friendly and always happy to help. The story of the site is also really interesting and worth looking into - information is available in the campers cottage. I'll be heading back there with my family in the summer and cannot wait.

Beautiful location with great views across the bay towards Anglesey. Nice to get away from the hustle and bustle and be amongst nature for a week. Also great location to explore nearby locations such as Caernarfon, Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsular. Nice people, very friendly.
