Stopped on a cycle ride as my mate raved about this place. He stayed traditional and was fine. I deviated and had a tuna-mayo sandwich and was rewarded by moldy bread. They had tried to hide it by cutting the crusts off, but missed bits. Nice enough place though, just a bit moldy....

Not the best fish & chips I have had, rather disappointing for the price. Think the chips were from the bottom of the hopper, some could break your teeth!
Well situated by the river and parking. Looks nice and clean. Good system with Covid restrictions. Staff are friendly and helpful. Chips are really good. The cod for all 3 of us was rather disappointing, very thin, crispy, stringy, and didn't finish it. We have all had way better for the money.
