Attended The hen house for work..nnReally friendly staff and landlord...nnThe whole place looks stunning after the refurbishment, I had a sandwich from here for my lunch which was very tasty and cooked perfectly.nnThe hen house has letting rooms photos nice and clean throughout.nnThis place has a huge sports and games room... No waiting for dart boards or pool tables videonnReally nice comfortable venue, well worth a visit.
Food was fantastic aswell as atmosphere, music, football & rugby and of course allowing dogs.nOnly grievance is, we stayed on a Saturday night and even though it states online it closes at 12am there was still loud music blasting till 1am.nI believe one of the other customers staying in the hotel rooms that night had complained as i heard aomeone leave, the music turned down, they returned to there room and the music stayed on for 2 songs before being silent.nWhen booking in the hotel here just be aware you will hear the tvs, music and people talking from downstairs. Great convenience for a weekend bender but if your passing through I would not recommend sleeping here.
Lovely little dog friendly pub. Had some lunch which was yummy and reasonably priced. Did take quite a while for food to come out, and the pub was quiet for a Saturday afternoon. Will be back.
The bar staff were excellent. Quick service from all involved. Food came within 30 minutes and was cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend.
Having recently moved to Hednesford we found this pub by accident today so glad we did what we found the bar staff couldn't do enough for us friendly food was excellent couldn't finish it as the portions were big a fantastic warm friendly experience will be going back for Sunday lunch this Sunday great place highly recommend it
