Visited again to celebrate daughter's birthday, its my go to place as they do the best lasagne but 2 of my daughters said the chicken bites are great so i had those, they were amazing, my third daughter is vegetarian and was pleased with the choice of non meat dishes, Hedgeford Lodge is one of the reasons i want to move to Hednesford!
My friend and I had pasta Alfredo with chicken. We both had to send it back as it was cold. The server said that they would remake it for us. We watched them put it under the heat lamp. We then had to wait another 25 minutes before we collared someone to ask where our dinners were. They then brought the same dinners out that had been transferred to a new dish. We could tell it was the same dish as there was wilted rocket throughout and the chicken was mixed in with the pasta and sauce. It was also chewy, overcooked and even some parts were burnt and inedible. The pasta was like mush!!! We ate some as we were hungry but it was spoiled food. Re-warming chicken under a heatlamp is unacceptable!!! I'd had this a few nights ago and had been telling my friend how nice it was. That's why we went there! Huge mistake! Very disappointed

One of the worst breakfast ever specifically ask for runny eggs and they came well done bacon when trying to cut it it snapped beans dried up very very disappointed £6.59 not cheap anymore for rubbish was originally having egg benedict but was told ran out of poached eggs but got eggs for fried ??? Wasn't asked how food was at all .nDefinitely would not eat here again.shame really because we like the pub.
Nice place. Good meal. Good price which included drink. Great being able to order at table with app. Good waitress service, They were pleasant and friendly. I was unable to log on to the website. Signal from mobile data was weak, so ordering on phone was really slow.
