Went there today for a hen party & had an afternoon tea. We had a private room which was decorated really lovely & had a beautiful chandelier. The staff were helpful & attentive making sure everyone had refills of tea & coffee. The finger sandwiches were nice & we also had scones with jam & clotted cream & a small selection of little cakes. I would recommend this venue but would have liked a bigger selection of sandwiches & cakes that maybe could be chosen when making the booking to avoid wastage & satisfy the customers instead of having the sandwiches & cakes chosen by the hotel.

Great hotel and nice staff. Spacious rooms. Food is excellent. Spa is little bit on the small side, everything else is ok. Would return.

hotel very cold in places including restaurant. staff friendly, but stayed in room 19 last saturday and was extremely noisy due to function and had to request additional heating.. for the money.. not worth it unfortunately, spoke in detail to manager and did not receive email from him, despite me writing to them.. dissapointed.. update general manager did finally respond and made a generous offer of £20 towards next booking.

Good experience, Maple, a comfortable and private room for around 14 including 3 very young, personal attention from pleasant staff, not as expensive as might have been expected. Food mainly good, company priceless.

We found ALL the staff extremely kind and helpful, even at this time of year with many Christmas functions taking place. The evening meal in the restaurant was excellent and very good value. Will definitely stay again. Especially using the spa.
