Just had a check up, dentist managed to do a descale and a filling in the same appointment. Dentist and her nurse could not have been nicer. Thanks for not running off to the private sector, it's you guys that keep the NHS dentistry just about surviving, WELL DONE, it is appreciated, by the public if not the government.
Would give zero stars if possible please don’t got here if you actually want something doing as they arnt intrested! They just want to charge you and send you on your away, receptionist is dam right rude need to learn some customer service skills. Didn’t want to have to post on Google but they never do as they say still waiting on a call back from this morning and an email will the complaints policy on. Had multiple emergency appointments for tooth ache and still no answers just get sent away an told to come back once it’s better not going to get better left is it over 4 weeks of tooth ache I’m at my wits end with this surgery don’t know why it’s has gone so poor used to be a great surgery not just interested in making money.
I was seen on Tuesday 19th April, after obtaining an emergency appointment from the 111 service. I saw Olivia and her assistant. Initially it was thought I had an abscess. I was in quite severe pain for a few days. The dental nurses were quick to identify the problem and solution. It was a root infection I think They said the roots needed to be removed. Which I was very nervous about. After a few shots of anaesthetic, the process was quick and simple. And effective! I'm now pain free and taking more care with my teeth. The nurses were friendly, re assuring and helpful throughout. And so we're reception. Thank you Helsby Dental Practice! Great service
These were my elderly parents dentists for many years. Recently a piece broke off my 85 year old mothers false teeth. Because she hadn't been in for several years they de-registered her. This is now made worse by the death of her husband of 66 years last week. She will now have to go to the funeral with no false teeth which is devastating for her. An absolute disgrace, dentists should hang their heads in shame for the way they treat elderly people with absolutely no regard for feelings and consequences of their policies.
After years of bad experiences with dentists, I have finally found someone I can trust in Dr Olivia Woodward. Always straight forward, caring and supportive. Fully explains what will happen, and takes the time to make sure everything is done properly in an efficient manner, always checking on how you're doing. No rushed service and certainly not treated like a number. Thank you again Olivia! Could not reccomend this place enough. True professionals.
I been to the Helsby dentist 2 young adults looked after me today when I had 2 fillings done they are very gentle and caring and she gives me the numbing gel so I won’t feel any injection pain. I had to give them 5 out of 5 stars for there great teeth work thank you aswell. If you need your teeth doing this Helsby dentist is the place to go
My partner came in for an emergency appointment today after having a few issues. She was welcomed and made to feel at ease. She has a fear of dentists but the staff calmed her down remained professional throughout I cannot thank this team enough would highly recommend.
I cannot put into words how good this dental practice is. I have a fear of the dentist after such terrible experiences at previous practices. Since moving to Helsby Dental I have been made to feel at ease, seen promptly when needed even during the pandemic and given the best possible treatment. Dr Simpson has changed my opinion completely on going to the dentist and for that I am forever grateful. I cannot recommend Helsby Dental enough.
Amazing - The dentist saw me in an emergency and has done all he can since to help me until I go to the hospital for further treatment. I fail to understand how anyone can leave a bad review regarding this surgery. They have gone above and beyond to help me and the receptionists are lovely, kind and very helpful!
Rang my usual dentist after getting pain, only to be told that they had de-registered me I explained that I’d not been for 2 years due to covid, and they had not given me any warning of this happening, but they still wouldn’t see me ..got referred by the emergency dental line and received a call back from Helsby immediately…was seen within 30mins of that initial call, the problem was identified and rectified immediately. Can’t thank them enough, only wish I could register here now for the future.
