WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!! Probably the rudest mechanic I have ever met… Seriously mate, if you don’t like your job then find something else to do or pay someone to answer your phone. I’m sure you know your stuff but just because you’ve had a long day doesn’t mean you need to take it out on the customer.. Judging at other reviews it appears to be a regular occurrence. Ringing for an update on my cars MOT status is not a crime. ALSO, when a customer asks for an oil change, they expect the oil to be topped up, not just replaced with the amount that was already in there. After less than a month on the road the oil light comes on.. nice one.

Used Kevin at Hedge End Auto's for the past 4 years and I will continue to do so. I used to run a car hire company and he was looking after my fleet and at current he is looking after my personal cars. Thanks Kevin for being my trustworthy mechanic.

There comes a time in our lives when we have to admit there are some things we can no longer do.I have always tinkered with cars and motor cycles, but now is the time to leave it to the experts. Being of a certain age group that has been reluctant to trust some garages I am pleased to have found one that is trustworthy and gives good service .I have had several dealings with them and always had quick and reliable service.

I needed all 4 discs and pads done same day and hadn't' booked. I've never used the Autocentre before, but I will definitely be back. They did a very professional job at a fair price and got me back on the road in the time we agreed. Many thanks to a good local service provider. Ps: Don't confuse directness for rudeness, I would rather deal with honest hard working guys than smooth sales types who are usually insincere and overcharge for the privilege. So many thanks to Kevin and his team from me.

Booked my car in for a MOT in March 2016 and felt that this was one local garage where I would feel happy to take my car for any future repairs. Had a long chat with the owner and felt that I could trust him and his team. Nice reception area too, with free wi-fi and a drinks machine. Honestly couldn't fault it, at the time.. 10 months later, I took a different car there for some mechanical repairs and didn't have quite the same experience. Yes they correctly diagnosed and rectified the faults, but I felt there was too much collateral damage within the engine bay. It took me several hours subsequently, to put it right. I felt that whoever did the work on this second occasion didn't really care about my vehicle. The proof of that, so far as I was concerned, was bolts securing front bumper to sump guard being replaced with cable ties... Having said that, I had no complaints with the MOT that was done at the same time. The few advisory points were fair. Definitely an OK place to get an MOT done, but be careful about having repairs done here.
