Rosie’s shop is an absolute find and gem! I was scrambling to find the perfect hat for the Regatta and she rescued my fashion emergency swiftly with the easy appointments you can make on the website. Once at the store, you’re greeted by an impressive array of hats and spoilt for choice. Rosie was so helpful with suggesting with what worked with my dress and what didn’t. I recommend this shop for anyone who need the perfect hat for any occasion.
What an excellent experience! Exceptional service and an incredible range of hats. Rosie is attentive and offered great styling tips, making sure I left with a hat that not only looked great but also felt comfortable. The whole process, from booking to return, was smooth and convenient. I received so many compliments on my hat, and I can’t wait to rent from them again. Great service and value for money. I will definitely be back! Highly recommend!
This fabulous independent shop is a real find, a gem! My 18 year old daughter needed a hat for Ascot. We had an appointment, we were not rushed but encouraged to take our time. The owner was very supportive, encouraging my daughter, making suggestions and giving great advice on hats that would suit her and her outfit. My only advice would be that you MUST make an appointment if you need a hat during busy times e.g Ascot, Buck House Garden Party. This is a chocolate box for women a fabulous choice of hats and no calories!. We will return.
This is one of the best kept secrets in West London. Rosie is amazing the way she gives every client a very personal service and WHAT a selection of hats . You will never fail to find something and I have been using H Hats for years and years .

Had a really bad interaction with the person here. The woman who works here should go and take a course in customer service, really have no idea who she thinks she is and why she thinks she can talk to people that way. she must be really confusing the roles on who’s working in a shop to serve customers and the actual customers. Thankfully so many other shops in London, Knightsbridge, Marylebone or even online dress 2 impress online was exceptional where people are actually willing to help. Also if you’re unsure just look at the responses the owner leaves behind some of the reviews on here and you’ll see what I mean. EDIT IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNERS ANSWER: not entitled attitude was given from my side when all I did was call and politely ask for informations. I am always happy to wait for my turn and respect other people’s times. The only person entitled on here is the owner, as you can see from her response all she can do is call people names without having any evidence to back herself up. Pathetic and ridiculous behaviour from someone who should know basic etiquette and manners.
My wife has been renting hats from Hectic Hats since 1998, Rosie has always found the perfect hat for every outfit my wife has challenged her with. Having read the bad reviews it strikes me that all of the disgruntled reviews are made by those without appointments, who expect to be accommodated at the very last minute. I suggest that they book in advance, and then they can calmly choose the perfect hat for the occasion. Hectic Hats are wonderful at what they do, and we need to support local businesses like this little gem. Thank you Rosie.
Beyond rude owner. Felt like I ought to be paying her for the very privilege of stepping foot inside her quite literally hectic shop. Tatty overpriced hats.
I went to Hectic Hat Hire with my daughter yesterday to choose a mother-of-the bride hat. We received great advice, lots of choice and plenty of time to try on as many hats as we wanted, and there was no pressure to make a decision straight away. The appointment was fun and reassuring. Would definitely recommend.
Fabulous hat and service! I found the owner to be very accommodating with regards to giving me an appointment at very short notice. Rosie gave me great advice, and the hat which we chose together was a resounding success. I received so many compliments about my amazing hat which was in superb condition. Thank you for all your help - I will be back next year!
