My first visit to Heaton Moor Fish Bar travelling from Didsbury. Excellent fish and chips. Cheerful staff and no delays in being served. Chips just the way I like them. Not too thick. When did they become a 'thing'?
Always a lovely friendly service from the team. All fish is cooked to order and very tasty. There is also a wide range of additional menu items to choose from including the usual pies as well as scampi, chilli con cane and other options.
Great fish and chips very tasty but disappointing is that they used to be open for lunch Wednesday thurs and Friday but now they removed and only.keptnfor Friday. They put on poster to explain to customers the increase of prices but funnily they only open for dinner. Had they opened for lunch too they would have made plenty of profit. Saldy they lost a customer now.
Lovely staff who give very generous portions, for a reasonable price. We'll definitely be back!
Great fish and chips which I have driven from Hazel Grove specifically for in the past. I would recommend.
Visited today with the wife and we both had fish, chips and mushy peas, which were lovely and served in nice cardboard boxes. Could have done with a touch more vinegar but it's a minor criticism. Would happily visit again! EDIT: got to knock a star off. Made a point of asking for plastic forks for our fish, chips and mushy peas. Drove a couple of miles to a nice spot to eat them, but found there were no forks in the bag!! Was absolutely fuming
