Sending our eldest daughter to Heathcote has been, without doubt, the best decision we could have made for her schooling. The small class sizes and individual attention she gets are second to none; she is so happy there and has made excellent academic progress. Our little boy now attends Heathcote Nursery and he absolutely loves it. He runs in without even saying goodbye in the mornings! As parents, we have been so impressed with how the school works hard to involve us as a family, not just in the wonderful special events they hold throughout the year, but also in the day to day life of the school. It really is a special place!
Our daughter first attended the Nursery at Heathcote and has now moved up into the school. She always skips into school with a smile! We are so happy with the small classes and individual focus that she gets day to day. Heathcote makes sure the children are consistently interacting across the ages which makes the older children feel responsible and the younger ones feel included and special. We also love how nurturing and family oriented the school is. We are very happy and so is our daughter!
Heathcote School has been amazing start for both our children our son has now moved on to his next adventure Senior School.nHeathcote School offered our children a warm, friendly and nurturing atmosphere. The small classes enabled our children to have the upmost focus in their education which meant they could reach their full potential.nDuring lockdown it was amazing how the teaching continued and how the teachers make the children feel confident to express themselves even though they were not in a classroom.nThe Heathcote Team of teachers, assistants ,office staff right through to the kitchen staff and all those people behind the scenes is what makes Heathcote a family and one that I’m glad my family has been a part of.
We recently moved out of London to Danbury and our daughter has started in year 2 at Heathcote. It was a big move for us and for our little girl but Heathcote staff made it so easy. The school itself is outstanding with a lot of individual attention given to children.Swimming classes once a week is part of the school day which is brilliant. Our daughter loves all the clubs and enjoys the wholesome lunch provided at school. The teachers are excellent and always happy to help. With both parents working full time the twilight clubs are a blessing. I must add that the school and staff are willing to go out of their way to do what’s best for your child. Special thanks to Mrs Scott and Mrs Hay there! If you’re looking for a nurturing, independent prep school look no further - Heathcote it is! Oh and the uniforms are super smart!
Our sons have a fantastic day, everyday at Heathcote. They walk into school with huge smiles on their faces. This was the same during lockdown when they logged on with their class mates and took part in lessons from Maths to PE, and even sculpture making. The school has provided them an individual academic style of teaching, in a true nurturing environment. I couldn't recommend it more highly. We have been blown away with the progress of our sons learning, creativity and development. They are in very small classes allowing their teachers so much more time for each child. This is reflected in their confidence and understanding in subjects. They are really enjoying all the different clubs and opportunities to try so many new things. We as a family are very happy here.
