Great day out at Heath Farm with my partner and 2 year old girl. We went into the wacky warehouse at first and were met with a lovely warm reception by a lovely young lady. She signed us in and explained the rules. Then as we moved into the pub section gave us just as warm a goodbye. We went into the pub section and found a nice spot in the corner. The menu offered is very good and the kids menu has lots of options too. Michael on the bar was very friendly and brought our drinks over to the table to us. He also served our food which came very quickly and was hot and delicious. He asked us if everything was OK and didn't hesitate to get some gravy to go with our 2 year old daughters food. Overall a fantastic customer experience and we will be back very soon. Well done team.
We enjoyed our lunch very much. My husband is a big eater and even he felt the carvery was superb I had mac and cheese which was delicious. However one little thing could make a difference warm plates My dinner plate was cold. Great food on a warm plate. Great food on a cold plane is just insane.
Visited many times and I think it has improved significantly. A warm friendly welcome on entering. They have a carvery aswel as a menu. Ordered the bacon and cheese burger which came with fries and onion rings. Very enjoyable, cooked well. Greene King have an app so you can order from your table, it worked very well and was easy to use.
Visited tonight for a family dinner for 4, we can’t fault the staff as they are courteous, hard working and helpful. Booked a table for 4 at 18.30, 3 of us wanted carvery - what a complete disappointment!! Beef looked really dry, the gammon was dry and the third meat was non-existent . Veg display was pathetic- carrots, broccoli, green cabbage, red cabbage and cauliflower cheese bowls were ALL pretty much empty and the few bits left in them at the bottom were inedible! We asked for some fresh veggies , were told that there was no more…! We understand that it’s been hard during covid, but as a management team, you need to decide if you want to offer a carvery mid-week or not..‘if yes,!then you need to up your game significantly! For £7.95 a head it’s really poor value for money
Very poor we went tonight Sunday booked for 18:00 for my wife's birthday and took our grandchildren thinking it would be OK. Went to order at the bar only one person on when we ordered the carvery we were told it was finished but we could have what was left !! or chose something else ??? After we re-ordered and the order came one dish was completely missing the guy was apologetic and offered us two sweets free of charge this is only part of the disaster that we encountered when l visited the loo it was a disgrace the door was hanging off one of the stalls and loo roll strewn all over the floor don't think these are checked the only reason I have given 1 Star is because the pub was open the above comments are just a few of a number of problem's. Never again.
Lovely food as always. Massive thanks to Sarah, Lou & Soph they really are a fantastic team and they can not do enough for you. They are an absolute Credit to the business, always so welcoming, smiley and friendly.
I just want to thank the manager she absolutely smashed it. Not only did her and her staff give up their Christmas for us but they all went above and beyond the food was amazing and they made our family very happy. We appreciate you. All of you xxx
Have just returned home after a lovely carvery. Food was absolutely fantastic. Service is second to none. We went as a party of 20 and the staff couldn't help us enough. The lady that now runs it seems to know exactly what she's doing. Will definitely be returning
We came here yesterday for food. We was told it was a 25 minute wait for food. We waited a hour. Food was nice but nothing special but the wait was unacceptable we had a 1 year old with us who was very bored if they said it would have been a hour wait we wouldn’t have waited. We ordered our child a starter and that ended up coming the same time as his main so a lot of food wasted. Poor.
Great drinks and great food. My only concern, an alarming concern is… I’ve only been in once and a male whom I did not know at all sent me a drink with his name and address?? Alarmingly the bar maid.. not sure if she is landlady or general staff, brought it to me.. she seemed to know the person in question so - staff appear to endorse such alarming behaviour - as I recall there were children nearby If it’s a pink pound pub then fine, but please.. I’m sure there’s something called pub safe …
