Healthmatters is a family-run health food store in East Dulwich, South London.

Story

About us.
Healthmatters is an award winning family-run health food store in East Dulwich, South London, which has been established since 2000. Brother and sister, Rob and Monica, who founded Healthmatters, personally check their products for quality and type of ingredient to ensure each product is as natural as can be.

The whole team is made up of qualified health practitioners who have been trained and qualified to industry standards and also hold a Degree or Diploma in various subjects of complementary health care.

Healthmatters works closely together with Dulwich Therapy Rooms, which is located in the same building to offer an all in one complementary health care service.

Our mission
We are valued in our local community for our service, our ethics and our specialist advice and we want our online customers to be just as well served. We hope your online experience is simple, informed and as friendly as popping into our shop. We aim to provide a 100% positive customer service experience.

Since I moved to High Barnet,I’m very happy I found this place! I can find non toxic products there! Paul is an excellent practitioner, since I met him my 3 years old daughter is not going to GP any more! I am not supporting antibiotics and unfortunately her paediatrician would mainly recommend that for most of the issues! My little one had a terrible cough for nearly 2 months and with Paul’s help she recovered fully in 3 days!!! My parents as well, 65 and 70 years old are been looked after from Paul for few years now,and we are very happy with his practice! I Feel bad I didn’t have a chance to write a review earlier! Thank you very much for the great job you are doing Paul and your team
I can’t believe some of the reviews regarding staff on here as I visit a lot and they are the most friendliest, helpful staff ever! They are so kind and really want to help you take good care of your health. Also not every shop can have hundreds of staff floating around. People should be more patient and understanding. I’ve been seeing Paul in clinic for just over a month now and I’m responding really well to treatment. My friends call him a miracle worker as he has healed so much for them. Excited to continue my journey!
Paul is extremely knowledgeable. He is always willing to listen and tailor make herbal products to your exact needs. I am very pleased with his recommendations. Fantastic store. I highly recommend it.
Should change the business name to - People's Health 'does not' Matter for these lot. Multiple messages left, the lady over the phone is a miserable human being. I even emailed them. Thankfully another Company got in touch with me after I sent a referral and I invested over £200 in herbs and treatment plan not shares in investments to help with my illness and intend to continue. Absolutely appalling service. I stand by what people have said about them on here. 1 star review wish they had 0 star - attitude stick 'perplexed' I am too due to the lack of response email but the audacity of replying on here!
Health matters is such a great shop full of many different herbal items. Paul is very intelligent and can help you out with any matter. He provides confidential advice and every time I have visited I have always benefited from the help received from Paul. I would highly recommend visiting the shop and speaking with Paul if you want a great result or advice!
Paul is an exceptional practitioner. By following Paul's advice and having his medicine, now lots of allergic reactions I used to have for about 3 decades are almost gone! I am very much looking for further treatment. He is not just doing medical treatment but does some types of diet. And in the consultation room, I could receive so much of learnings from him, so I can get to know exactly how my body works and why symptoms occured. Also other workers are always very kind and supper supportive to me. lots of healthy food/goods are available there.
My Daughter introduced me to this Health shop and I must say she was right about Health Matters they are a small business but very helpful and can order dried herbs at a reasonable price will always go there for my Herbs.
If youre looking for a health specialist Paul is brilliant. If you have problems, diagnosed or not - book in to see him. He put together custom tinctures and dietry plan to help with my sinisitis, allergies & fatigue. Dont be put off seeking his help by reviews of the shop itself
Paul is the most exceptional practitioner. After years decades! of issues that seemed irresolvable, I am now stronger, fitter, healthier, happier and sleep better than ever. I cannot recommend Paul highly enough - excellent, excellent practitioner.
Initially I was very happy to find this shop when I moved to Barnet as the area is sorely in need of a good organic food shop. However it seems that it can't quite decide between being a complementary therapy centre or a health food shop. I usually come for the latter but when I once asked for the herbalist I was told he only came in on certain days. The food side of the business is a bit understocked. I once asked if they delivered and was told no pity, as I like to buy in bulk. I also asked why they didn't sell more fresh produce and was told that 'the supermarkets do that.' So not exactly a dynamic business ethic. The worst thing is that the place is badly understaffed. Today there was no one at the till, just someone helping a client on the herbal remedy side and an iridologist with a client. I left my food at the till and walked out. I probably won't be back in a hurry which is a shame as we need a good organic shop in Barnet
