Friendly, approachable staff, willing to listen and advise you on both styles and colour. Nicola and her team are very knowledgeable about latest trends and have years of experience to draw on. The salon caters well for the local community - students, professionals, retired people and children - and prices are very competitive! I went looking for something new and was really pleased with my cut, so much so, that I went back and got it coloured (with 10% discount in January)!

I went to ask for an appointment and was told my hair is too damaged to be lightened which is fair enough and I would have happily left. But then the owner proceeded to lecture me for a good 5-10 minutes on hair dye which I found patronizing. Phrases such as "It's an actual chemical process you know!" and "When you dye your hair it changes your hair follicle, you can't just go changing it back." were used. I am fully aware of the chemical changes involved in hair dying as I am sure most people would be before attempting to do so. I feel like I would go back some day if I had virgin hair on the off-chance it does not cause the same reaction.

Wow - Just been to Headhouse and had my hair cut and coloured - I love it. If you are looking for a new hairdresser then you need to go here. Nicola is a professional, friendly and talented hairdresser. She will advise you on styles, colours and give you advice on hair styling products. Go on treat yourself to a fabulous new hair do - you won't be disappointed
