I had done bleaching and colouring by Taiki and he is just the best. All of the hairdressers I went said that it was not possible to achieve what I wanted or they just refused completely and offered another solution, however Taiki managed to do all the things other hairdresser couldn't do while maintaining the condition of my hair despite the fact that I had a very challenging already dyed and highlighted long dry hair. I'm beyond grateful and pleased.
I have been looking for a place that specialises in East Asian hair and hairstyles and Hayato is now my new go-to. Came here twice for haircut, always a good experience! Friendly staff and amazing services from the head massage during shampoo, professional opinions of how I want my haircut, to tips of styling my hair at home. Very easy to book an appointment online in advance.
This is a few months overdue, but I loved my haircut by Vanessa. Looking forward to my next one! Edit: I have very fine curly hair and she kindly advised which haircut would work for my hair type and face shape.
I’ve tried hair cut today with Taiki. The experience is so nice and very pleasant. The communication is easy. Taiki is very helpful and super friendly. Will definitely come back again and high recommend.
I can give a 5 Star review for Taiki’s Japanese straightening in Hayato London: 1. Pre-service: the communication was good and response was quick. 2. Service: very detail-oriented, efficient, and high-standard. During the second step of Japanese straightening, they straighten your hair throughly and carefully. 3. Technique: very professional. I went back to Hayato this afternoon to get a haircut by Martin. As always I love my new haircut, it is much beyond my expectation. Martin is very experienced. He has a good understanding of customer’s needs. Last year I got my hair permed by Martin and received plenty of good comments from colleagues and friends. I highly recommend Martin and Hayato to all of you. I would also like to thank Hayato receptionist and staff. They are so nice. Many thanks Martin and all of you. Cathy
Firstly I will say I like Martin’s haircut. Staff here are very friendly. The message he wrote is so cute thanks! I would like to add more to my review, I am feeling so sad about my whole experience this time. While the lady who was washing my hair, she was very rough pulling my hair, it hurt but I don’t want to shout because I was trying to be polite. The lady ended up making my hair all knotted, she told me that my hair is too dry and needs to cut off the knot, I was so surprised, I had a lot of treatment for my hair and I can say that my hair is very moist however she did cut some of my hair off. FROM THE BADDLY PULLING AND ROUGH HAIR WASHING. After, she told me, my hair needs a good shampoo as she was trying to recommend a shampoo for me, I wasn’t interested! I told the hairdresser, Martin, my scalp hurts from washing please be gentle, but there were a couple more painful pulling incidents during my hair cut. After I left the hair salon my scalp was still painful all day, the day after it still hurt. I had a few amazing experiences in Japanese hair salons before, they were so gentle and caring and that is why I booked this Japanese hairdresser. Neither of the staff who served me were Japanese, most importantly, they did not provide the service I expected.
Always come to this salon for haircut. Taka helped me today with a full highlight. He helped picked the highlight color that suits my natural hair color. The results came out great! 5 star for the service always. Thank you :
Taiki has been my go-to stylist for 6 years! He’s kind, patient, and does what’s best for my hair with an amazing attention to detail. The people working with him there also do a great job making the whole experience at Hayato very enjoyable. I love how relaxed and peaceful it is to be there!
